Harvest Temple is a Spirit Filled church that is theologically conservative and socially adaptable. We pray that if you are looking for a good church to grow with, you will consider visiting us this next week.

It is our long term goal to raise up leaders, start multiple congregational groups, and replicate our growth in La Porte, Pasadena, Channelview, Deer Park, Highlands, and Metro Houston. We are especially excited to help other churches in our area grow. It is not about "OUR" church as much as its about Christ's Kingdom.

We are a highly focused church and have simple clear cut goals for the future. If your a visitor feel free to enjoy the service and teaching. If you want to become a Christian we will help you understand the basics before you "buy into" Christianity. We want believers to be solid and make their decision out of conviction and not from a high pressure sales pitch at the end of a service. If you want to join the church we will teach you how to be an active Christian (or help you put on your running shoes for the race if you are recovering from a lousy church experience).

Our fellowship teaches right living in the eyes of God (no cheating, violence, foul speech, or sexual naughtiness outside of marriage). Financial contributions will be used to reach people with the message of Jesus and to train believers to live a sacrificial life of reaching others in His name.

A fair description of our "flavour of church" would be that we are trying to be balanced and outward focused. Our music is somewhat traditional with contempory music mixed in to make sure we can have all age groups worship together. Most of our attenders dress business casual or like you would to a office job, though some of us come in completely casual with sneakers and jeans, which is fine also.

A typical Sunday service would be us starting out with a few songs and then we would start into the preaching. At the end of the service we sing for a bit and then have a time of community worship at the front of the church while we pray for the sick and those who want to make a life change for Christ.
